We are keeping a close eye on how things evolve related to COVID-19 restrictions in the community. We will update this page on an ongoing basis as we take a thoughtful and cautious approach to adapting our health and safety policies in accordance with updated BCCDC and WCB guidelines.

Your donations and purchases are helping us to keep our programs running, which is offering crucial support for women, trans, non-binary and Two-Spirit people in our community.  

Shopping In Our Stores:

Please stay home if you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate for any reason. We also support our staff and volunteers and ensure that they stay home if they have any COVID-19 related symptoms or are needing to self isolate.

Masks:
Masks are welcome and appreciated for shopping in WIN stores.

If you have a health condition that puts you at risk shopping around customers who may not be wearing masks, you can shop online at win onlineshop.ca, or please call us at 250-480-4006 ext 204 to organize a solution that works for you.


Sanitizing:
When you come into the shop, please sanitize your hands, and sanitizer is also available at the tills and when you exit the shops.

Cleaning:
We regularly clean all common surfaces and touch points.

Barriers:
All of our till areas have plexi-glass barriers installed.

Safe Space: Respect the safe space of other shoppers, staff and volunteers.

Signage:
We have clear signage to make sure everyone is aware of our health and safety practices. Our staff and volunteers are all fully trained in all our health and safety procedures.

Ventilation:
We do our best to ensure as much ventilation as possible in our shops including fresh air exchange and regularly maintained HVAC systems (Westside).

Please stay home if you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate for any reason. We also support our staff and volunteers and ensure that they stay home if they have any COVID-19 related symptoms or are needing to self isolate.

Masks:
Masks welcome and appreciated for donors when donating at WIN Donation Centre.

Sanitizing:
Please sanitize your hands when you arrive at, and before you leave the donation area.

Safe Space:
Please respect the safe space of other donors, staff and volunteers.

Cleaning:
We regularly clean all common surfaces and touch points, as well as sanitize between each donor.

Ventilation:
By having our donation area outside, we reduce risk as much as possible. Our donation centre area has been redesigned with effective parking lot management.

Signage 
We have clear signage to make sure everyone is aware of our health and safety practices.  Our staff and volunteers are all fully trained in all our health and safety procedures. 

While visiting our stores and donation centre please wear a mask, sanitize your hands at the entrance and remember to maintain physical distancing at all times. We do understand that in some circumstances wearing a mask is not possible for folks, and so we have the following options available: please shop with us online at winonlineshop.ca, or please contact us to organize a virtual shopping appointment.
